A centre for the study and progression of the inner sciences of Buddhism, integrating with modern science.
There will be ongoing dialogue and collaboration with leading Western scientists, bridging the gap between East and West.
There will be residences for monks and space for lay practitioners to stay for retreats etc.
This centre will be dedicated to the promotion of world peace, education, open dialogue and reconciliation, from the individual to government level.
An open space which will be for people of all religions and backgrounds and will feature a hall which seats 500 people.
Talks, meetings, lectures and screenings will bring people together.
A nine storey stupa will be constructed and consecrated as a symbol of world peace.
Open to the public to visit, it will be a calm and peaceful place with lots of open space, where people can relax.
Regular workshops and events will be held to help develop harmony and peace of mind.

The Trust is committed to empowering the people of Tibet by providing education, vocational training and health facilities.
Lelung Rinpoche is an Associate of the Tibetan & Himalayan Studies Centre at Wolfson College, Oxford University, and gives many talks at different academic institutions.

We need an initial £10 million to secure an appropriate piece of land within 1 hour of London and that meets all of our requirements.
Then £10 million for the design and build of the three different sections of Shide.
